SUSTAINABILITY POLICY

TopHat Discovery CIC is committed to sustainable development, meaning that we consider the present needs of individuals and businesses without compromising the ability of future generations to meet theirs. This principle guides our coaching work, our business practices, and even our personal lives, informed by the European ESG & CSRD standards which provide a robust framework for measuring and improving impact on society and the environment in the three realms of Planet, People and Profit:

PLANET – Concern for the environment is an integral and fundamental part of our commitment to sustainable development. We are committed to

  • Taking actions to reduce our carbon emissions
  • Taking steps to reduce our uses of energy, water and other resources
  • Minimise waste by reduction, re-use and recycling
  • Using low-carbon transportation methods to reduce our carbon emissions
  • Investing in certified carbon reduction and sequestration programmes
  • Supporting our clients globally to reflect on the same without judgement

PEOPLE – Concern for equity recognises the needs for engagement of people in the positive changes sustainable development will bring. We are committed to

  • Creating a cost structure and coaching products that are inclusive and accessible
  • Supporting clients to reflect on the inclusion of all stakeholders with results that add value to their lives, businesses and beyond
  • Ensure diversity across our team

PROFIT – Sustainable development requires companies and businesses that create high quality products that the people need. We are committed to

  • Examining our business strategy to achieve balance between business priorities and our carbon emission targets
  • Supporting clients to establish pathways that they can remain on to achieve change
  • Committing to allocating a portion of the company’s profits to low-cost coaching for social initiatives
